You were full of life
You were strong
But you didn't get to live for very long

You were perfect every moment of your life
Even when faced with terrible strife
You were the best cow that you could be
You deserved a chance to be happy
Munch on grass under a shady tree
That you were killed is a tragedy
You didn't want a mansion or a fancy car
You didn't want to get drunk in a bar
You just wanted a chance to go outside
And not be afraid, not have to hide
People would've loved being your friend
Your life didn't have to come to an end
It's all so wrong, it's all so sad
Unnecessary violence makes me mad
That you were killed is a disgrace
I took a picture of your beautiful face
So everyone can know that you existed
Until the very end, I know you resisted
Why do I get to play on the world's stage
But you had to sit in a little cage?
Why do I get to die from old age
But you got killed?
It fills me with rage
Everybody needs to wake the fuck up
Stop putting violence in your bowl or cup
Stop eating cows and wearing their skins
