I think this is wavves talking to the fans. Nathan has mentioned before that he has a lot of people thank him for getting them through various hardships of life.

I think if you read into the first verse you could get things like, death, depression drugs.

Low life, your life Sharper than a hunting knife New sun rising up, filling up the empty cup

This is them moving past their hard times, or gaining a new more positive outlook on life.

The pre chorus and chorus are wavves speaking very literally to his fans.

No idea what the second verse means though.
