A bullet in his head
Finally
Picking through the lead who knows
Anxiety
So one more in his eye, and now
I can breathe
Just push him off the ledge

One is none
None is two
Holy god and holy truth
Nine is God, Nine could come
Nine to breathe inside your lungs

One is none
None is two
Holy god and holy you
Nine is God, Nine could come
Nine to feel your...

A bullet in my head
Finally
Picking through the lead who knew
That's inside of me
So one more in my eye, and now
I can see
Just push me off the ledge

One is none
None is two
Holy God and holy truth
Nine is God, Nine could come
Nine to breathe inside your lungs

One is none
None is two
Holy God and holy you
Nine is God, Nine could come
Nine to breathe inside your lungs

Your lungs
Your lungs
Your lungs
Your lungs

Your lungs
Your lungs
Your lungs
Your lungs

Your lungs
Your lungs
Your lungs
Your lungs

This a song created for GTA V. In the game, this song at one possible conclusion of the story line.

Without going into too much detail, a character is killed - a character that is the source of stress and trouble for other characters gets killed ("anxiety, so one more in his eye, I can breathe". The character is, himself, a tortured soul, so the second verse looks at the same event - him being shot and killed - from his own perspective: "so one more in my eye, and now I can see".

Nine I think refers to a 9mm glock (the vessel that kills the "he" in this song).

Interesting to note that "Nine is God" is an anagram of "indie song."

    My Opinion

Doesn't relate but the pixies said if man is 5 and the devil is 6 then god is 7

Not really sure about the meaning here. The verses might have something to do with the game this song was written for, or it might just be symbolic. Definitely a big numerology vibe here. God in numbers.

i think the bullet in his head is him taking a hit of some good marijuana. and then he takes another hit and he starts feeling it more. Nine is referring to taking 9 hits of this strong marijuana and you're so stoned it's like you found the secrets to the universe.

    maybe i'm just stoned.

Major spoilers ahead: The song was created for Grand Theft Auto 5, and foreshadows the events of 2 ending choices. You are tasked to kill one of the characters ("A bullet in his head. Finally.") One, Trevor, is the cause of most the problems and has extreme sociopathic tendencies ("Anxiety. So one more in his eye, and now I can breathe") and killing him fixes several issues. He is shot and lit on fire by a gasoline spill, which burned him alive. ("Nine to breathe inside your lungs") The other, Micheal, is killed by being dropped from the ledge of a construction site. ("Just push him off the ledge") Nine means the 9mm pistol he used (or was about to use) to kill them.

I guess '9' means 9 years. In 2004 Michael betrayes his friends. Game comes out in 2013, so actual story must have been happening in 2013 too.

Lines "One is none, None is two" might mean that their team is not full anymore, not without Brad. And "Nine to breathe inside your lungs" means that Michael had been kinda 'free' this 9 years until Trevor found him.

So, I also believe that in first verse this is Michael telling us what and why had he did to Brad. The same second verse - this is Brads speaking to us.

English isn't my native language, so, maybe, I got something wrong. And I'm sorry for my mistakes if I have them c:

    Song Meaning

This is kinda dumb but it could refer to delta 9 THC which is the originally smoked weed. Wavves is a stoner band and it would also explain all the lung stuff. And some people think delta 8 and delta 10 are worse than delta 9.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
