This song is about someone who either feels or has been told that they've been a failure all their life. At this point their own apathy about themselves is enough they don't need an endless 'stir of echoes' so to speak to reiterate it from others. It's all just white noise at this point, they just wanna be able to live & deal with their demons in their own space & time.
