This is the modernized Misery. First the simger reach out for the person with giving the things he know to define the person. The bitterness feeling of isolation and sadness or pain. The he start to face the person that the caouse of the suffering is how egocentric or narcistic that person is. Save the earth and claim perfection.- This is what comes from misery a person that thinks he or she can change the world, so all his or her suffering will be justefied, all his misdeeds will be forgived. Deem the mass and blame rejetction.- The singers blame the perosn to his or her isolation becouse never even tried to become part of the mass, and now he or she think that they were never accepted by it. Hold the pose, reign perception.- Mocking about that the person doesnt realise he or she flaws and dont change, but rather judge others. Grudes brake your back.- In that he mean your grudes towards others but im not sure.

Crucify and witness Circling the sun.- This two verse is kinda strange, becouse its mean that the person actually got attention, and Bastardize and ruin What have you become? .- it got the worst of that person. And maybe got judged by a wast majority of people. And this push that person deeper into self-destruction.

This is a song addressed to a person who carries the weight of the world on their shoulders metaphorically speaking like the figure Atlas from greek mythology. The lyrics points out how this person thinks he/she is the cause of the problems in the world which is both harmful to the person and quite self-centered when in fact you are just one person. The chorus encourages the person to let go of this weight so that he/she can enjoy life again. I find it to be a very optimistic and encouraging song although its also tough love.

Basically the "Atlas" in this song is a person who takes pride in trying to do as much as he/she can; but that's not enough. He/she scoffs at the weaknesses and failures of others to set his/her-self above the "masses". This self righteousness drives others away to which "Atlas" sees as rejection of his/her "perfection". The chorus mocks "Atlas" with the word die which is to say fail. "Die as you hold up the skies" is to say, "fail as you try to do it all". The mocking goes on with "Atlas, rise." which can be interpreted as , "You think you can hold the world? Then stand with it all on your back."
