Give or take a few dudes from the bar
Take them home with me
This night
Is going to end horribly
For someone
The tick is just talking away
I don't understand
What it's trying to say
I think it says I'll
Drive my car like I stole it
Drink at the bar like I own it
And every dime spent
Is worth looking good
And that's Hollywood
And you know that she would

I am the son of an asshole
A drinker far too drunk
To stay awake at his funeral
But that's alright
'Cause I left Milwaukee behind
For this
Refreshing town
With this refreshing meat
Meet me
Down by the bar
We'll go and take this drink
Out to the stars

So come on
Believe me
Follow me home
There's no judgement here
We'll laugh a little
Drink a little
See what you're made of
I'm capable of making you dissapear
I am the agent
That decides your fate

My hometown was nice
I didn't have to think twice
About who I recruited
There wasn't anything
No one knew my name
I was so secluded
Baptized in bloody water
I'll make you famous
One way
Or another
So you should start to undress
And just try a little less
And I'll drill in your head
What you need
To be
King of this god damn city

So come on
Believe me
Follow me home
There's no judgement here
We'll laugh a little
Drink a little
See what you're made of
I'm capable of making you dissapear
I am the agent
That decides your fate

    Song Meaning

It's pretty self explanatory. I really like how someone added the lyrics but didnt try to over explain what is really very self explanatory. Dahmer Does Hollywood is a fictional imagining of what a night on the town would look like if Jeffrey Dahmer had relocated to Los Angeles. Simple. Hopefully someone will add the amazing lyrics to some of his other songs that aren't as easy to interpret. The subjects of his lyrics as well as his musical style are an incredible work in progress, changing with every album. If anyone reads this check out the lyrics/videos for his latest album ..come back and explain those..if you can.

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
