I think this song is also about Scott Stapp. I want to point out that I don't think Tremonti would hurt Stapp, the lyrics are merely thoughts or wishful thinking.

Stapp/Creed was made famous because of Tremonti's guitar playing and songwriting, but Stapp takes credit. Tremonti made a mistake by letting Stapp in.

"Pull me inside, draw me nearer And you will meet your end I swear that this time I will justify Until I flee again"

If Stapp lures Tremonti back (Creed broke up in 2004 but reunited in 2009, hiatus since 2012), it won't end well for Stapp. Perhaps he'll turn the situation around before he strikes.

Stapp made a mistake when he thought he could fool Tremonti. He's gone too far, and has been forgotten or forgotten. Tremonti is still doing great career wise, and has had two successful bands since Creed - but where's Stapp?

People love celebrity drama, and Creed's story has been quite eventful. It's not right to forget about things - actions must lead to consequences.
