Old Man Storm Lyrics
Listen to my winter tale
For many days the sky has bled
Oceans swell with winters dread
Old man laughs with the wind
As thy storm takes wing
The earth is drowning in woe
Eternal power meaningless
To the old man in the sky
So the days soon pass
Frozen landscape so vast
People look to the sky
To hear that old man cry
As the dawn pushes through the night
Humans crawl from the mud
Nowhere to turn look to the sky
Ask for forgiveness of they cross of rock yeah!
From the winds the people heard:
"Your weak willed god means nothing to me. I am older than you and he. For I use him as I use you. Storms I bring will destroy all. For I am ruler of the icy land. My creatures live off meat of man. As you worship your weak sun. Snap my fingers now winters begun!"
Old man storm screams a winter chill
For many days the sky has bled
Oceans swell with winters dread
Old man laughs with the wind
As thy storm takes wing
The earth is drowning in woe
Eternal power meaningless
To the old man in the sky
Frozen landscape so vast
People look to the sky
To hear that old man cry
Humans crawl from the mud
Nowhere to turn look to the sky
Ask for forgiveness of they cross of rock yeah!
