What I know of it is the song was based around these different words that have words in them but the word itself means the opposite. There is no good in goodbye, there is no nice in nice try, there is no us in trust, no soul in soldier on, etc. That's the basis of the chorus and the verses put a story to it. It's him shouting at his now ex as she's walking out of his life! It's all words you should have in a relationship! Good, nice, trust and soul and they have all gone with her. There is also a massive **** you in it.. The silent hell in I wish you well! Plus if it was his decision he would change a few things including how it ended.
