I see this as how to overcome a great loss. He is only asleep for a while, meaning he can have few moments of not being hurt or suffering for what has just happened. Another aspect that is important, maybe the most, is the fire. He's on fire. This I feel can open the story into two: 1-He's on fire meaning he is in great pain because of the loss. 2-He's on fire meaning he feels guilt of what happened to her, maybe he is responsible. So the whole song turns on how to overcome a great burden.

This song is about sex, love, and being lonely. The guy left a girl (like they split), but the memories about them and what they created together left in her. She bring then another guy to the house because shes horny and suffer, but the new guy isnt aware that the house is full of the demons of the previous relationship. Shes pretending thats everything is alright, but she cant get right of her ex from her head. And shes quiet about this matter either. Eventually they life together, the guy is satysfying her sexually, and everything seems to be ok. Other than hes still blind and deaf to her inner voice - only sees her urge. And the demons still are sleeping around these walls, waiting to be awaken.
