The Lost Song - Part 1 Lyrics
Tonight
I'm free
So free
For the first time
I've seen
New life
New life
Start to breathe
And you came to me
in some way
And my life
will never be the same
(And one day you'll feel me
A whisper upon the breeze)
And that night
As I dreamed
And I slipped away
To another place
Where you spoke to me
Of this day
Of this day
And you came to me
in some way
And my life
will never be the same
And you came to me
in some way
And my life
is like a hurricane
And you came to me
in some way
And my life
will never be the same
For you're mine
And I'm yours
For life
For you're mine
And I'm yours
For life
For life
The fear is just an illusion
The fear is just an illusion
The fear is just an illusion
The fear is just an illusion
I'm free
So free
For the first time
I've seen
New life
New life
Start to breathe
in some way
And my life
will never be the same
A whisper upon the breeze)
As I dreamed
And I slipped away
To another place
Where you spoke to me
Of this day
Of this day
in some way
And my life
will never be the same
And you came to me
in some way
And my life
is like a hurricane
And you came to me
in some way
And my life
will never be the same
And I'm yours
For life
For you're mine
And I'm yours
For life
For life
The fear is just an illusion
The fear is just an illusion
The fear is just an illusion

While this song is "Part 1" chronologically it happens to continue what happens in "Part 2".
After a break up happens where the male is especially hurt and in a bad place. He finally recovers and feels himself again. During "Part 2" the woman states she'll contact him telepathically via the couples bond, and manages to do so. This song confirms she was able to communicate to him and it seems that he's telling her using the same gift. He points out that the love wasn't an illusion at all. The illusion was the fear the woman had that initially caused the break up and how his love and his life (which is her) is like a hurricane. This song has a strong declaration of love despite the circumstances.
