Ooh, oh, oh
We're a thousand miles from comfort, we have traveled land and sea
But as long as you are with me, there's no place I'd rather be
I would wait forever, exalted in the scene
As long as I am with you, my heart continues to beat

With every step we take, Kyoto to The Bay
Strolling so casually
We're different and the same, gave you another name
Switch up the batteries

If you gave me a chance I would take it
It's a shot in the dark but I'll make it
Know with all of your heart, you can't shame me
When I am with you, there's no place I'd rather be

N-n-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be
N-n-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be
N-n-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be
Ooh ooh

We staked out on a mission to find our inner peace
Make it everlasting so nothing's incomplete
It's easy being with you, sacred simplicity
As long as we're together, there's no place I'd rather be

With every step we take, Kyoto to The Bay
Strolling so casually
We're different and the same, gave you another name
Switch up the batteries

If you gave me a chance I would take it
It's a shot in the dark but I'll make it
Know with all of your heart, you can't shame me
When I am with you, there's no place I'd rather be

N-n-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be
N-n-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be
N-n-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be

When I am with you, there's no place I'd rather be (yeah, be)

Oh, oh
Be, be, be, be, be, be, be, be, be
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, yeah

If you gave me a chance I would take it
It's a shot in the dark but I'll make it
Know with all of your heart, you can't shame me
When I am with you, there's no place I'd rather be

N-n-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be
N-n-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be
N-n-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be

When I am with you, there's no place I'd rather be

    A beautiful song indeed,

Why would you want to be elsewhere when you are so in love.

This song depicts that exact feeling. She is so exited about the relationship and though she feels she might be in it blindly, It doesn't matter, she'll just enjoy it and make the best of every moment.

Even after hearing five of their songs many times (A&E, Mozarts House, Dust Clears, Rather Be and Extraordinary), I still don't know how they manage to combine classical music with dance beats so seamlessly. Outstanding

"If you gave me a chance, I would take it, It's a shot in the dark, but I'll make it, Know with all of your heart you can't shame me, When I am with you, there's no place I'd rather be"

The words 'chance', 'dark' and 'shame' kind of tell us that there are lots of opportunities in life and we may experience EXTREME suffering to get them, but we should always believe in ourselves, because God gave us this special potential :)

"With every step we take, Kyoto to The Bay Strolling so casually We're different and the same, gave you another name Switch up the batteries"

Could this maybe be referring to American military in Japan falling in love with a local woman?

We're different and the same, gave you another name Switch up the batteries

Batteries= energy source, what you run one, what powers you We're different= different cultures, ideas, creed, gender, class anything of that sort the same= we're all human, we've all got feelings name= label. society puts us into categories.

If you switch up your point of view and begin to understand, you'll find that we're all pretty similar.

I have the feeling that this song is about the love for music, instead of loving someone, wherever she is and whatever the situation is she is ok as long as there is music.

OK, guys. THIS SONG IS CREEPY! After watching it over a hundred times, l finally found out what it means. In the beginning: Ohh!! What a cute song!!! After watching it a bit more: Something's fishy.. IN the end: WHAT THE F*! Ya see, this is one of the few songs that goes with it's music video. Cuz it is obvious she loves Clean Bandit. They follow her, she dreams about them, and she hallucinates. She turns completely crazy, dies, and guess what? Who was supposed be her dad was actually a Clean Bandit member, and there's a look of eerie satisfaction on his face. You all said this was a beautiful song!! O___o!!! WELL I'LL BE F***!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
