Mother Sky Lyrics

I sit still and silent,
For a moment in the light of the act
If I clear my mind, I am rising beyond all space and time
There's nothing that I have to do to be who I am, yeah

Now I release to the mother sky,
All I have to transmute this illusion,
I lost my grip but I have you now,
How can this be? I have become my enemy,
(Oh I've lost)
I lost my grip but I have you now,
How can this be? I've become my enemy

I repair the shattered diamond,
To it's wholeness with these bloodstained hands,
Just as I designed, I am rising beyond all space and time,
Nothing that I have to do to be who I am, yeah

Now I release to the mother sky,
All I have to transmute this illusion,
I lost my grip but I have you now,
How can this be? I have become my enemy,
(Oh I've lost)
I lost my grip but I have you now,
How can this be? I've become my enemy

Will you see the black of the eye, separated from the white?
If the enemy has shrouded the eye, one must prepare to die

Now I release to the mother sky,
All I have to transmute this illusion,
I lost my grip but I have you now,
How can this be? I have become my enemy,
(Oh I've lost)
I've lost my grip but I have you now,
How can this be? I've become my enemy

I think this song is about a struggle within someone's own mind. Like a dual personality or something like that. The person realizes what is going on, but is struggling to control it.

I believe this song is clearly about alien abduction, Mother Sky symbolizing being abducted by the Mother ship or space ship. The song speaks of communication issues and being unsure once abducted if the alien or aliens are good or evil. He suspects that perhaps they may become his enemy because they may see something is eyes that's threatening & he is perplexed as to why because he means them no harm.

I think its about meditation. Our own minds are our enemies more often than not, hence the "how can this be..." line, and using meditation to regain your grip ("I've lost my grip..."). I have no idea how the bridge relates to meditation though, would love some insights on the bridge lyrics.
