Papi Pacify

I think i'ts sort of a lullaby to calm down a love that's in a tempest. Like, she's singing 'hush, little baby', to the relationship.

To me it seems like this song is a plea to be..well..pacified by the man she is with. She's asking him to tell her the things she wants to hear, even if they aren't true. I think it touches on the fact that people will often settle for less than they really want because they don't want to be alone; which creates a relationship where someone needs to be pacified with falsities to keep things going. Been there, done that.

This song is about as said before a lack of love in a relationship but also greatly about sex. She is telling him to pacify her by choking, to touch her rough and to make her feel like she is vulnerable and feminine. But also to tell her that things are okay between them, and that she is the only one that he is with, when she knows it isnt true. ''Oh show, Tell me I’m the only one, Like I didn't know'' she knows he isnt faithful, but wants him so badly she is willing to stay and let him feed her lies.
