Put some lipstick on
Perfume your neck and slip your high heels on
Rinse and curl your hair
Loosen your hips and get a dress to wear
I'm the one who's
Been comin' 'round lookin' lovin' you
You're the medicine
I need to heal the way you make me feel

I'm gon' be manicured
You wanna be man cured
Ma ma ma manicured
She wanna be man cured (man cured)
Salon's enough for her
Not to feel so insecure
Ma ma ma manicure
She wanna be take care'n of
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it
I'm addicted to the love that you garner (man cured)
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it
Like a serial killer, man is a goner (man cured)

Touch me in the dark
Put your hands all over my body parts
Throw me on the bed
Squeeze, tease me, please me, that's what I said
'Cause I'm the, trick who's
Been comin' 'round lookin' lovin' you
You're the, the medicine
I need to heal the way, the way, the way you make me feel

I'm gon' be manicured
You wanna be man cured
Ma ma ma manicured
She wanna be man cured (man cured)
Salon's enough for her
Not to feel so insecure
Ma ma ma manicure
She wanna be take care'n of
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it
I'm addicted to the love that you garner (man cured)
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it
Like a serial killer, man is a goner

Man cure!
Man cure!
Heal me, cause I'm addicted to love
Save me, cause I'm addicted to love
Man cure!

I'm gon' be manicured
You wanna be man cured
Ma ma ma manicured
She wanna be man cured
Salon's enough for her
Not to feel so insecure
Ma ma ma manicure
She wanna be take care'n of (man cured)
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it
I'm addicted to the love that you garner (man cured)
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it
Like a serial killer, man is a goner (man cured)

It's pretty obvious that the title has two meanings Manicure and Man Cure. I think it is a super female song. You know when women feel depressed about love, they always get busy with their looks. It's like a psychological cure for them to change hair colour, hair style and do smanicure, try something different, then feel refreshed. This is basically man cure!

This song is SO ambiguous the lyrics is so simple, Gosh! First, just like belmad said, it's about how women deal with romantic depression and how they mentally feel renewed after going to the salon. Well, that's quite similar to what Gaga said herself: the song is about "manicuring" your body and soul to be able to go after a new love interest. In my first language (spanish) people use to traslate "MANiCURED" as "healed man" but I certainly think that the real meaning is a man that IS the cure, not the one who gets healed or (coming back to the first interpretation) manicure as the real medicine "to heal the way you make me feel"

Seriously, no one has noticed all the lesbians innuendos in this song? Firstly, the obvious 'man cured', I guess it's pretty simple what the message of this song is: the narrator is a girl who's offering herself to another girl, she'll manicure her(come on people, another huge innuendo here, we all know what she means with the whole hand thing), she's gonna make the girl question her sexuality, she'll be 'man cured'. It's about a night of sex between two girls, one of them is 'experimenting', one of them is trying to prove that she can be good enough to make the other forget about guys.

Both as a standalone and as part of the DSOTS album, you can take this lyric as read. As a matter of public record, Jourgensen's drug intake was legendary even in the 1980s. By the late 90s, in his own words, he was grappling with massive addiction issues and had lost almost everything: friends, spouse, money and had nearly died more than once. "Dark Side of the Spoon" is a both funny & sad title for an album made by a musical genius who was losing the plot; and this song is a message to his fans & friends saying he knows it. It's painful to listen to so I'm glad the "Keith Richards of industrial metals" wised up and cleaned up. Well done sir.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.
