This band is one of my current favorites. they have lots of surf rock style music together witha few excellent songs like "theres something about a waitress" this one
These funny guys write a lot of tongue-in-cheek songs. This is one. It seems to be about the kind of "love" that renders you completely, tragically, shockproof unrealistic. The kind of love that nice, smart girls who really ought to know better sometimes develop for bad boy losers who end up killing them. But this one is upbeat and silly- like nothing too bad is going to happen to this foolish guy. He'll just pine way too long for the wrong girl- again- while countless better choices pass under his nose daily. Many guys (and girls, for that matter) are like this.

The Ziggens kill it on this track! They've always been a fun, funny, and not too serious band, but this was a great parody of pop love songs. The Ziggens are really good, and hardly anyone has listened to their catalog. Needless to say, it's really good for the most part.
