Here's to Never Growing Up Lyrics
Singing Radiohead at the top of our lungs
With the boom box blaring as we're falling in love
Got a bottle of whatever, but it's gettin' us drunk
Singing here's to never growing up
Call up all our friends, go hard this weekend
For no damn reason, I don't think we'll ever change
Meet you at the spot, half past ten o'clock
We don't ever stop, and we're never gonna change
Say, won't you say "forever" stay
If you stay forever hey
We can stay forever young
Singing Radiohead at the top of our lungs
With the boom box blaring as we're falling in love
I got a bottle of whatever, but it's getting us drunk
Singing, here's to never growing up
We'll be running down the street, yelling "Kiss my ass!"
I'm like yeah whatever, we're still living like that
When the sun's going down, we'll be raising our cups
Singing, here's to never growing up
Oh whoa, oh whoa, here's to never growing up
Oh whoa, oh whoa, here's to never growing up
We live like rockstars, dance on every bar
This is who we are, I don't think we'll ever change
They say just grow up, but they don't know us
We don't give a fuck, and we're never gonna change
Say, won't you say "forever" stay
If you stay forever hey
We can stay forever young
Singing Radiohead at the top of our lungs
With the boom box blaring as we're falling in love

Love her new song, it's sooo true!!!!!!
I love this song is basically just about not change because the world want you to cuase now you're older. it's definatly becoming one of my favorite songs ever.
I just love this so much, because me and my friends are immature like that!! (But we don't drink. We're not of legal age yet.)
So what?
So what?
I think what Avril's point in this song is to tell people that her and her friends are never gonna grow up and there gonna be young for ever and she wants to get that point out so that people understand her way of living and what she does what she thinks is fun, funny, cool, and just her style Avril's just trying to tell people the way of her life to every day people but shes doing it in a vary diffrent way than other people would<3<3<3 three hearts for Avril telling her story of her life in a totally cool way <3<3<3
This Song Most Obviously revolves around the fact of growing up. We spend most of our lives doing pointless things that we grow out of our old selves. this song says that we should never get rid of our old selves and we will always be the same people deep down.
Not even Radiohead fans sing Radiohead at the top of their lungs. Get a life and leave rock music out of this, it never did anything to you
This son is stupid. Avril obviously has become confused about who Radiohead actually is. Instead of picking the biggest alternative UK band around and associating them with party songs, perhaps she should actually listen to Radiohead and realise the majority of their style is sombre, deep and informed. Exactly the opposite to the shit pop rock band she is imagining them to be. Thom must smile about the misplaced reference... if he ever even hears this forgettable crap song. Pop princesses and hack pop song writers need to stick with what they know - shitty music - and stop trying to create more artificial artistic credit by name dropping bands far more superior than themselves.
I don't think she meant that the radiohead is pop rock and she is not the only singer that cited the radiohead in one of his song. And even if you don't like the song there is NO reason for being so rude and offensive. The same thing could been said more gently you know like a civil person.
