I feel like it can be interpreted in 2 ways. One being of course escaping your troubles and catching a red eye flight. The other being escaping your troubles courtesy of cannabis when you smoke you get high like a plane and unless you use eye drops will make your eyes red. Red eye flight life.

I think its about falling asleep to escape from your troubles while intoxicated, or insomnia and going insane from lack of sleep due to troubles racing through your mind. Reminds me of Day N Nite.

<3 I think this song is describing someone man or woman who knows that they need to get away from his/her woman/man because they know they shouldnt be together for whatever reason. But cant help it because they're in love. Its a love hate type of relationship and they dont know what to do so they escape feeling upset through the night by using cannabis.

This is clearly about smoking pot b/c he's a troubled mind. He can't sleep so he smokes cannabis, hence the red eyes. This is a common theme in his songs. I don't really think there's much to say about this song, it's pretty straight forward.

For me, this song talks about depression and staying up all night thinking about everything.
