or not ,, if you really think about it its about how he fell inlove with a girl and a girl fell inlove with him ,, but theres a problem they must have fallen out of love or they just two different people they always clash but deep down they have feelings for each other and they both hurting thats why he says "I think we've lost our touch There's no sparkle in those eyes" and when he says he doesnt want to do it by himself he says he needs her ,, he wants her ,, you know the saying...

Okay,so i thought of all this yesterday.I was comparing this song to some of my own memories and i came up with a theory. You can clearly see that this song is about being in a relationship with someone and you two are fighting,all the time,but you still love each other. Let's see it as a relationship between Oli and a girl. Oli is telling her that if they still love each other they can make it. She doesn't believe it. This song is actually a conversation,except from a part of the chorus. "Every second's soaked in sadness Every weekend is a war And I'm drowning in the déjà vu We've seen it all before" Describes their relationship and how things are Then,the conversation starts

Oli:I don't wanna do this by myself,I don't wanna live like a broken record (probably reffering to his drug addiction) Her:I've heard these lines a thousand times and I've seen it all before

I feel like this song is about depression

Every day he is battling through this and everyday he is going through the same thing over and over again and he is stuck in a deja vu

Every second's soaked in sadness Every weekend is a war And I'm drowning in the déjà vu We've seen it all before

It's someone going through depression and every weekend he is trying to fight it and Is always feeling sad. and everyone has seen it before
