Sirius interacts with the All Mother once more, and departs on a new mission with a new ship. Once again, he programs the coordinates from his former mission to the Keywork. The All Mother is confused -- or as confused as an artificial intelligence can be.
"You fought to withdraw from a location which has incited severe, quantifiable pain and nearly terminated the mission -- nearly terminated your life. Yet, you desire to set a course back to it. I am not equipped to comprehend human rationale.
Sirius, is this what love is?"
There is a pause.

He may not make it back home alive, but after everything that has happened, he does not care. His only desire, his prime mission, is to return to the Keywork to find Meri. He will help her ascend, as he did with Sentry, or he will die trying.
Thank you for these lyrics and the excellent explanations of them, really helped pull the entire story together for me. I am curious as to where you came up with the meanings though, do you have access to the coffee table book or something of that nature?

Unfortunately I didn't have the funds to actually purchase the full deluxe versions (just standard copies), so I don't have the book myself. However, I did manage to find scans of the book online and basically paraphrased what was in them. :)

...Hey thanks for these interpretations man. I was hoping there were more for the other tracks like Carol Ann and Random Reality Shifts. Even with the other Key entities other than domino and sentry. ..but these might be too much to ask already since you were kind enough to share the interpretations with the others. In a nutshell anyway, the other entities are explained by Claudio already.

He definitely won't come back. He just wants her to cross over peacefully, but he has to go through hell to help her get to (the story's version of) heaven. It's suicide, I think. And atonement for not making her priority when he had the chance. He killed her.
