Kunst Lyrics

"get your ass back here
get your ass back here"

"i want to come back there, but i'm fucking hanging out with knmfmdm
i can't even fucking say it"

"kmfdm are blowing themselves to hell
kmfdm are blowing themselves to hell
kmfdm are blowing themselves to hell
blowing themselves to hell
blowing themselves to hell..."

juke joint jezebel, r.u.ok?
help us save us take us away
money, power, murder, blame
ooh la la, not in my name

a drug against war, attak/reload
kmfdm: kill mother fucking depeche mode
son of a gun, what do you know?
kmfdm: kill mother fucking depeche mode

don't you blow your top, every day's a good day
spit sperm, back- back in the ussa
itchy bitchy, from here on out
come on/go off, dirty, kraut

disobedience, anarchy
bullets bombs and bigotry
torture, terror, bitches, boots
never say never, thank you, brute

sex on the flag, ready to blow
kmfdm: kill mother fucking depeche mode
more and faster, rebels in control
kmfdm: kill mother fucking depeche mode

german engineering, astounding ingenuity
29 years of conceptual continuity

viva la mort, people of the lie
no meat no man, d.i.y.
the unrestrained use of excessive force
world war iii, move on, adios

a drug against war, attak/reload
kmfdm: kill mother fucking depeche mode
son of a gun, what do you know?
kmfdm: kill mother fucking depeche mode
kmfdm: kill mother fucking depeche mode
kmfdm: kill mother fucking depeche fucking mode

Cover art for Kunst lyrics by KMFDM

This song feels like a of tribute to some of their great masterpieces. Like "A drug against war", "Attak/reload", "Son of a gun", "Adios", etc.

Awesome song tho, still good ol' classic KMFDM. l

My Interpretation
Cover art for Kunst lyrics by KMFDM

Coming back to this I realise that 90% of the lyrics are titles of their other songs LOL. This song is pretty much just a tribute to their entire band.

Kill Mother Fucking Depeche Mode is a tribute to what people used to think KMFDM was an abbreviation of.

And the german ingenuity part is referring to the band being german and the 29 years is how old the band was when the song was made (1984-2013).

Pretty cool
