Child I Will Hurt You Lyrics
Keep them locked away
Reduce them to strays
Clean their cuts and scrapes
Mercy we abstain
Hope you’re entertained
Snow covers the stain
Forray forever
Taught them with solace
They know a soft caress
To lower your defense
Hide all that you could
Done for the greater good
It’s later understood
Forray forever
Reduce them to strays
Clean their cuts and scrapes
Hope you’re entertained
Snow covers the stain
They know a soft caress
To lower your defense
Done for the greater good
It’s later understood

I think this song is a dark take on parenting, especially the parenting of young children. Its hinting at the way adults protect children being like a prison to the children.
Keep them locked away Reduce them to strays Clean their cuts and scrapes
About how parents lock their children away to protect them from the world, thereby making children feel like strays, as they don't feel as if they can belong to the world outside their protective family.
Mercy we abstain Hope you’re entertained Snow covers the stain
About how in the adult world there is no mercy, and how in the adult world bad things can't just be resolved quickly like 'cleaning cuts and scrapes', how bad things fade away in time.
Foray forever
Taught them with solace They know a soft caress To lower your defense
How parents teach children with comfort/ love, which is a direct contrast to how people are taught in the adult world.
Hide all that you could Done for the greater good It’s later understood
How parents tend to avoid telling their children about bad things in the world, to try and preserve their childhood for as long as possible. How when the children turn into adults, they begin to realize through experience why their parents did that.
Foray forever
