I'm sure this is about Carah Faye leaving and then rejoining the band
This song is about the miscommunication when Cara Fay left the band. Watching Cara and Chad perfom this onstage it was obvious that this is very personal and I suspect Cara left because of a rift between the two of them. The band said this was a song they wrote early after they reunited so I also suspect it was part of the healing that took place when Cara returned.
