Got some of these lyrics from the only live video that I could find on YouTube. I'm still unsure on a lot of these verses but hopefully you guys can help me out.
As lovely as this song is, I'm almost hitting the point of utter frustration trying to work out the lyrics! You've done a great job so far, but here's a couple of things I had noted in my own version of the lyrics:

1st Line sounds more like: Caught in the town where I fell asleep. (but I feel both versions of this first line still fit with the theme of the song)

First (?) line sounds a bit like: Let me sleep, until the tomb. (but I have no idea what this could mean within the context of the song)

The massive unkown verse: I don't agree with "make me". It sounds more like "then he". I can also spot the words "shining bright" and right after that something ending in "motion" (emotion, in motion?). Right after that, "hold still", and I think the last word in that verse is "there".

I agree with the "then he" and "shining bright" parts, but I can't figure out the whole verses and that's quite frustrating.

Also I'm not sure about the "just to be close" verses, it also sounds a bit like "reach to the core" or "reach to the cold".

I always thought "just to be close" was "mystical". And also I thought I could hear " my feet in the sand" instead of "hands in the sand." "Come away" sounds like "Come my way" to me at least. "Shuffling by the withered trees, Resting my knees"? "Let me Slip into the tomb?" And I think the last (?) is, "And I'm assuming that, (they are, they're)" But I couldn't have heard all of these things if it wasn't for the lyrics posted before me. So thank you. Haha I remember looking up the lyrics on this site a year ago and it was all (?) Good to see how far it's come.

I've wanted to cover this for years with, but I couldn't without doing the lyrics justice! I'm not even sure if these are exactly the lyrics he intended, but at this point, I feel a good sense of closure here, now that there aren't any more (???) lines.
