...And All The Colors Lyrics

Minutes melt into miles
Hours erode the days away
These years of infinity
Recycle and repeat this
Rebirth

Don't shoot the messenger
(Shoot the messenger)
Ignore the killer at your door

Magnify
The moments we have lived
Pacify
The past lives we laid to rest

And all the other colors
Are leaving this body and mind
Behind
Become another level
Leading into the divine
Divine

This crippled reality
Untangible fantasies
Can't be
(Can't be)
Can't be
All the walls breathe
To a heartbeat

Are you a messenger
Or the killer at my door

And all the other colors
Are leaving this body and mind
Behind
Become another level
Leading into the divine
Divine

[Backwords: And wonder
And wonder
Wonder
What they mean]

Woman: Are you looking?
Man: Yes, what should I see?
Woman: I've never seen such infinite beauty in my life! I wish I could talk in technicolor... I feel sorry for you. If you can't see it, then you'll just never know.

And all the other colors
Are leaving this body and mind
Behind
Become another level
Leading into the divine
Divine

Become one with the energy
(The energy, the energy, the energy, the energy)

And all the other colors
Are leaving this body and mind
Behind

Cover art for ...And All The Colors lyrics by 10 Years

I first thought it was about some drug trip. The spoken part in it is from a video in the 50's I think, about a study on the effects of LSD on people. The snippets is the woman under the influence trying to describe her trip and what she sees. And it all makes sense, I guess you can feel some of those things in a trip but then I found that in the bridge where it does sound like he says "It's no good" or "It's hopeless" is actually backwords and it actually says "And wonder, and wonder, wonder what they mean". And I begin to wonder what he actually means. Then I think it really diverges into two ways: the trip is making him like this, all what does it mean and stuff, or this isn't about a trip but about something just simply psychological like paranoia or some hallucinatory thing "This crippled reality Untangible fantasies Can't be" I lean more towards the drug trip, but that's what I got out of this.
