I know there is a story to go along with this song but the words are too sincere for me to believe that's as far as it goes. If that is in fact the case I can only imagine what they write when they mean it.

For me it is most certainly the feeling you're left with when you simply can't get over someone in-particular. It's not a plea to reunite but a projection of emptiness where love once was. To know you will be without this person but to pine still. While accepting what's happened you can't say with certainty why you ever let them go. Maybe you never will.

I think its about meeting someone for the first time and not taking the chance to get there number or something to meet them again. We often say goodbye instead of taking the leap of faith to say, "I want to see you again" and now its on your mind of the mistake you made. "That I'll never know"

(before the song)A robot lives alone for a very long time. And they see love amongst others. They wish they could feel that someday. And then they do.

(the song)They meet a beautiful girl and they fall in love. But since she's human she eventually dies. And he's left alone.He feels heartbreak and emptiness so he just lets himself go. hello goodbye twas nice to know you. Human life is short. They were together for only a short time. And now she's gone he doesn't know how to live so he just lets go.

the first part of the song isnt in many videos. it goes "There was a time when i was in love but all the angels and doves couldnt make her say i love you" this song is about rejection. Rabbit in this case saw a woman and he loved everything about her however she didnt feel the same. "You didnt have to look my way" is Rabbit asking why did you make me fall in love with you...basically. "Set me free my honeybee" is Rabbit trapped in this feeling of sadness and rejection wanting the feeling to end.

This song seems pretty cut and dry on the surface-- It's about trying to let go of a past love that for this reason or that, you just can't get over. The ending "now you have to go" is interesting, though. It could simply be saying you're gone and now I have to let you go, but I prefer to think --- possibly because they look like awesome scary robots and this would be in line with my perception of awesome scary robots -- that "now you have to go" is the singer making the decision that since he can't get over his lost love, he has to kill her. I'm probably wrong, but that's how i prefer it :-)

The song is about a female robot named Honeybee that Rabbit had met at a county fair. Later on the county fair was abandoned and Honeybee was found with missing parts and could no longer function again. Due to Rabbit being a robot, he will live with this sadness forever.

This song is about a toaster called Jenny.
