Dance for You Lyrics
I ran across cyanide plains
Mind like a prison cell
But feet untethered and sane
I wander out, hopeless and sad
No thought of where to go
Or how I ever get by
There is an answer
I haven't found it
But I will keep dancing till I do
I boogie down gargoyle streets
Searching in every face
For something I could believe
I knelt beneath what Congress is
I wanna feel the breath of a force I cannot explain
There is an answer
I haven't found it
But I will keep dancing till I do
Dance for you, dance for you
There is an answer
I haven't found it
But I will keep dancing till I do
Dance for you, dance for you
Mind like a prison cell
But feet untethered and sane
No thought of where to go
Or how I ever get by
I haven't found it
But I will keep dancing till I do
Searching in every face
For something I could believe
I knelt beneath what Congress is
I wanna feel the breath of a force I cannot explain
I haven't found it
But I will keep dancing till I do
Dance for you, dance for you
I haven't found it
But I will keep dancing till I do
Dance for you, dance for you

I'm pretty sure the line is, "I knelt beneath one hundred saints..." Not 'beneath what congress is."
Props to the tone of this, really gets the answerlessness of the question of life
As Virginia Woolf put it -- "What is the meaning of life? That was all — a simple question; one that tended to close in on one with years. The great revelation had never come. The great revelation perhaps never did come. Instead there were little daily miracles, illuminations, matches struck unexpectedly in the dark; here was one. This, that, and the other..."
