I will never take back
Words that I said then
I will always come back to you
Even in the meantime
I will always stand by
A mirror on the shelf

Call you in the night time
Call you in the day time
Can't fess up to you

'Cause I hope
We will never have to take back
What we said in the night I
Hope that I'll always have all eyes on you

You know that
I will take what I can when
You are there standing by, soft
Spoken in the dead of night, all eyes on you

I will never take back
Words that I said then
I always knew I'd come back to you
Even in the meantime
I will always stand by
A mirror on the shelf

'Cause I hope
We will never have to take back
What we said in the night I
Hope that I'll always have all eyes on you

And you know that
I'll take what I can when
You are there standing by, soft
Spoken in the dead of night, all eyes on you

And I hope
We will never have to take back
What we said in the night I
Hope that I'll always have all eyes on you

You know that
I will take what I can when
You are there standing by, soft
Spoken in the dead of night, all eyes on you

I hope
We will never have to take back
What we said in the night I
Hope that I'll always have all eyes on you

You know that
I will take what I can when
You are there standing by, soft
Spoken in the dead of night, all eyes on you

I hope
We will never have to take back
What we said in the night I
Hope that I'll always have all eyes on you

You know that
I will take what I can when
You are there standing by, soft
Spoken in the dead of night, all eyes on you

All eyes on you

I have no idea why those lyrics are showing there. I didn't submit those. I submitted this: I would never take back words that I said that I will always come back to you

Even in the meantime I will always stand by a mirror on the shelf

Call you in the nighttime call you in the daytime canvas up to you.

'Cause I hope I never have to take back said in the night I that I'll always have all eyes on you Know that I'll take what I can when they said in back, soft speaking in the dead of night All eyes on you.

I will never take back words that I said that I will always come back to you

Even in the meantime I will always stand by a mirror on the shelf

'Cause I hope I never have to take back said in the night I that I'll always have all eyes on you Know that I'll take what I can when they said in back, soft speaking in the dead of night All eyes on you.

I hope I never have to take back said in the night I that I'll always have all eyes on you Know that I'll take what I can when they said in back, soft speaking in the dead of night All eyes on you.

That's not even the right song. /irritated. Anyways, I'm unsure of some of them. I tried as best I could. If anyone has a better idea, lemme know. Particularly frustrating lines that I could use help with: -"Canvas up to you". Best guess. Makes no effing sense though. ...So yeah. -"they said in back, soft" This maybe makes sense. I don't know. That's what I heard.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
