Take It Back Lyrics
Won't you take me away from here
So I'll never find my way home
Well there's one missing part of me
And I'm afraid it's fine on its own
And this time it's finally grown
For me to see
Now I see
Words spoken silently
I could never understand
How breath delivers such poison
To someone too weak to stand
And dust can turn into mud
Out on the sea
In the sea
Take it back, take it back
Take it back
So I'll never find my way home
Well there's one missing part of me
And I'm afraid it's fine on its own
And this time it's finally grown
For me to see
Now I see
I could never understand
How breath delivers such poison
To someone too weak to stand
And dust can turn into mud
Out on the sea
In the sea
Take it back

I think it's about a break up. The first part is where she is no longer with her lover, he broke up with her and now the "Missing part of me....is fine on it's own" - Basically her former lover is fine without her. The breath that "delivers such poison" is how she describes him telling her he's leaving her, and she's the one "too weak to stand." And the sea is caused by her tears.
