Somethings crept in under our door
Silence soaking through the floor
Pinching like a stone in my shoe
Some chemical that's breaking down the glue
That's been biding me to you

Ooh, I feel like I just don't know you anymore
But I've been burned and I've been wrong so many times
We walk in circles, the blind leading the blind

Well I thought that love watched over this house
But you're boarding up the windows now
We've been leaning on each other so hard
Tied so tight we wound up miles apart
Making simple things so hard

Ooh, I feel like I just don't know you anymore
But I've been burned and I've been down so many times
We walk in circles, the blind leading the blind
We've been disconnected somehow
There's an invisible wall between us now
But I've been wrong and I've been down so many times
We walk in circles the blind leading the blind

I see the landscape change before my eyes
The features I've been navigating by
No nothing looks the way it did before
I don't know where to look, or what to look for

I feel like I just don't know you anymore
But I've been burned and I've been down so many times
We walk in circles, the blind leading the blind
We've been disconnected somehow
There's an invisible wall between us now
But I've been wrong and I've been down so many times
We walk in circles, the blind leading the blind
We've been disconnected somehow
There's an invisible wall
Between us now

General CommentNo comments for this perfect song?

This song is self-explained. It's about a ruining relatioship and they don't really know what to do. They're far, even when they're together. There's a wall between them and they can't break it, they're disconnected, they're not walking in the same direction anymore.

This song is followed by 'Watch how you go', so it sounds like a prequel of Watch how you go, which cleary talks about breaking up.

General CommentI love this song. I think it's the best one on the entire album, which is a difficult achievement because the entire album is phenomenal. I feel like this doesn't even have to be about a relationship either though, it could be between two people who are close friends. It's a lot about betrayal, trust and loss. It reminds me of "We Might as Well be Strangers" from Hopes and Fears. Same sort of deal. Basically it's just a phenomenal song.

General CommentBy far the best song on the album. I love the energy, reminds me of Somewhere Only We Know. But I feel like the tone of this entire album is much more somber. It seems like a memorial dedication to a previous relationship. This song brings out the anger in trying to keep making something work, but realizing that it's been long over.

General CommentBasically, it's talking about a relationship, where they just aren't meant for each other anymore. Maybe one of them thought of the other one as 'the perfect one for them' but he's been wrong about him/her. "...But I've been burned and I've been wrong so many times..."

It's a breakup song. It's such a great song! It makes my jump every time I hear him go, "Ooh!" It's so full of energy.
