Mehendi Rachi Lyrics
Perhaps I'll be a bird one day
if I am good enough
and I'll spread out and fly way
and give up all this stuff
I am from a country land
where beauty only grows
and though I'd love to leave some day
I'd dare not ever go
And should you see my sister
she is small and gold
They will not hear a word you say
they don't believe in souls
Perhaps I'll be a bird one day
if I am good enough
and I'll get up and fly way
and give up all this stuff
I am from a country land
where beauty only grows
and though I'd dream to leave some day
I'd dare not ever go
And should you see my sister
They are small and gold
They will not hear a word you say
they don't believe in souls
I am no deceiver
I am a believer
I am no deceiver
if I am good enough
and I'll spread out and fly way
and give up all this stuff
where beauty only grows
and though I'd love to leave some day
I'd dare not ever go
she is small and gold
They will not hear a word you say
they don't believe in souls
if I am good enough
and I'll get up and fly way
and give up all this stuff
where beauty only grows
and though I'd dream to leave some day
I'd dare not ever go
They are small and gold
They will not hear a word you say
they don't believe in souls
I am a believer
I am no deceiver

I think this song is called Meheni Rachi - at least, that's what the track with these lyrics is called on the Dharohar Project, Laura Marling, and Mumford & Sons collaboration EP.
Oh thanks!
Oh thanks!
Where did this whole song come from? I've heard the one that she did with The Dharohar Project, but that only had half of these lyrics. Does anyone know where I can find the whole song? Thanks so much!
