Am I Going Insane Lyrics
Everybody's looking at me
Feeling paranoid inside
When I step outside I'll feel free
Think I'll find a place to hide
Tell me people, am I going insane, insane?
Tell me people, am I going insane, insane?
Every day I sit and wonder
How my life it used to be
Now I feel I'm going under
Now my life is hard to see
So tell me people, am I going insane, insane?
Tell me people, am I going insane, insane?
So I'm telling all you people
Listen while I sing again
If I don't sound very cheerful
I think that I'm a schizophrenic
So, tell me people, am I going insane, insane?
Tell me people, am I going insane, insane?
Tell me people, am I going insane, insane?
Tell me people, am I going insane, insane?
Feeling paranoid inside
When I step outside I'll feel free
Think I'll find a place to hide
Tell me people, am I going insane, insane?
How my life it used to be
Now I feel I'm going under
Now my life is hard to see
Tell me people, am I going insane, insane?
Listen while I sing again
If I don't sound very cheerful
I think that I'm a schizophrenic
Tell me people, am I going insane, insane?
Tell me people, am I going insane, insane?
Tell me people, am I going insane, insane?

From the FAQ at blacksabbath.com:
"Ozzy said that Geezer was rhyming radio rental with mental so they started using the phrase radio when meaning mental. Radio rental rhymes with mental. Hence 'Am I Going Insane (radio)' means 'Am I Going Insane (mental)'."

dont you just love lil things like that, that add to the whole idea of sabbath :)
shit your name really have a mean lordretard! this is no radio edit, there is no radio edit and i doubt there are any radio edits of any sabbath song. the word radio is a sort of made up word for mental. and yea, im 100% sure about this
Yes Radio Rental = mental
Yes Radio Rental = mental
All the songs on this album are epic 6 minute tracks so I bet after sabotage was all finished the label didn't have a song to make a single so they made them write a radio-friendly track. Sabbath didnt take this one too seriously obviously.
i love black sabbath but i cant stand this song
great song ! i think it means the radio is fuckin' crazy and makes you go crazy...i think ? anyway, when i was in a band, i used to play this song. i loved to play this song. black sabbath rules !!!
I think it's just them goofing off. Not a bad song overall though.
i love this song
How did this get on the greatest hits album? It sounds nothing like Black Sabbath.
I'm not quite sure what this means (or if it means anything), though I will say one thing. This song has nothing to do with radio. The title, "Am I Going Insane (radio)" just means that it's the radio edit. I haven't heard any other version, I just know that this is the radio edit.
