540,000° Fahrenheit Lyrics
Witness a blinding light, Sudden bright light from a blast
Pulsing radiation moving through cracks under skin
Feel the fire in the wind
Deadly kiss of scorching sands
Not a prayer of hope or redemption in your eyes
Hell exploded on this earth to take all that's alive
Standing at the face of death
Terror stealing your last breath
Watch the firestorm incinerate you into ash!
All that you know burns away into dust
So many lives
So many innocent
Burn!
Every particle returns to its natural form
Ashes into ashes blown away just like the dust
Heaven burning with the sky
Hell is not the reason why
Feel the firestorm melting your spirit into glass!
All that you know burns away into dust
So many lives
So many innocent
Burn!
So many lives
So many innocent
All that you know burns away into dust
So many lives
So many innocent
So many lives
So many innocent
So many lives
So many innocent
Burn!
Pulsing radiation moving through cracks under skin
Feel the fire in the wind
Deadly kiss of scorching sands
Hell exploded on this earth to take all that's alive
Standing at the face of death
Terror stealing your last breath
So many lives
So many innocent
Burn!
Ashes into ashes blown away just like the dust
Heaven burning with the sky
Hell is not the reason why
So many lives
So many innocent
Burn!
So many innocent
So many lives
So many innocent
So many innocent
So many lives
So many innocent

From the epicenter of the blast to a distance of approximately one-third of a mile, temperatures reaching 540,000 degrees Fahrenheit would vaporize every structure and individual instantly. Now that's either a nuke or those jalapenos I hate yesterday coming out. Also see Demanufacture's Flashpoint.
The first page of the booklet (as this is the first song on the new CD; Transgression) shows a nuclear explosion.
fear factory allways used to make concept-lp`s with a big story told by every single song. transgression has a concept, too, but every single song has his own story as well. never the less, the main plot of transgression is something like a meteor crashing on earth or just the end of the world, so 540,000 degrees fits into it pretty good.
Definately about a nuke being dropped. I would agree with Alexi and say possibly a meteor, but the song makes it pretty clear it's a human act. "So many lives, so many innocent..."
Not to mention a damn good song.
This song has a nice flow to it. Definitely the best off the album.
Definitely about a nuclear blast, especially because the (pulsing radiation moving through cracks under skin)
What great vocals in the chorus.
