Legless Love Lyrics
Legless love and spider love
Webless love and fragrant mud
Caged in birds cased in words
I buried your hair in a bed of swords
I buried your legs in a knifeless snake
I buried your songs in a drowning snail
Webless love and fragrant mud
Caged in birds cased in words
I buried your hair in a bed of swords
I buried your legs in a knifeless snake
I buried your songs in a drowning snail

I downloaded 2 different copies of this song but i don't hear anything...is this song really like this? If so, why are there lyrics here then?
I just finished downloading a new one and now i can hear the song
I think he's alluding to the idea that by trying to use words to express love we degrade it in some way. It can't go anywhere because we're depriving it of it's legs with our nonsensical attempts at wording a feeling too complex for words.
A legless love certainly wouldn't be going anywhere without legs. Spider love should have a web to keep it together, not falling apart. But, no web. The next theme is both "cased in" and "buried". Words and songs are stifled through being cased in or buried. In conclusion, I think this is about the destruction of love in general, or a specific love between two people, because of buried expression or lack of articulation of true sentiment.
