Girl I can see you've been crying
I know your feeling alone
I want you to know I've been trying
To show you what you've never known

Baby, just open the door into your life
Just say goodbye to your loneliness tonight

Chorus
Where ever you want to be, I'll take you Whatever you want to see, I'll show you
So baby believe in me, I'll make it right
It's gonna be a long night

(whatever you want, whatever you need, whatever you want)

Life is too short to be wasting
Every moment alone
Why are we here hesitating
Baby come on and just let it go

Give me a chance let me open up your life Every step that you take I'll be by your side You know it's gonna be a long night

Chorus
Baby, just open the door into your life
Just say goodbye to your lonliness tonight
You know it's gonna' be a long night

I can give you all you want and
I can give you all you need and
Whenever your feeling lonely I'll be by your side It's gonna be a long night

Chorus

@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
