This song is (kind of) in the same boat as "Brodsky Tune", but is a softer song that, in my opinion, is Morten trying to call attention to the plight of the East Timorese and pledging his heartfelt sympathies for the people of the country (Bury my heart on East Timor/In coral sands/On golden shores). He also describes the treatment of the East Timorese by the occupying government (Mark them as fools/Let ignorance rule) and the public's general blind eye to the plights of the citizens (Leave them stranded on their island/Treat them to the tune of silence) in a similar vein to "Brodsky Tune".
