Jack the Stripper/Fairies Wear Boots Lyrics
Goin' home late last night,
Suddenly I got a fright
Yeah, I looked through a window and surprise what I saw
Fairy boots are dancin' with a dwarf
All right now
Yeah fairies wear boots, and you gotta believe me
Yeah, I saw it, I saw it I tell you no lies
Yeah Fairies wear boots and you gotta believe me
I saw it I saw it with my own two eyes
Woah right now
Yeah fairies wear boots, and you gotta believe me
Yeah, I saw it, I saw it I tell you no lies
Yeah fairies wear boots and you gotta believe me
I saw it I saw it with my own two eyes
Woah right now
So I went to the doctor, see what he could give me
He said, son, son you've gone too far,
'Cause smokin' an trippin' is all that you do, yeah
Suddenly I got a fright
Yeah, I looked through a window and surprise what I saw
Fairy boots are dancin' with a dwarf
All right now
Yeah, I saw it, I saw it I tell you no lies
Yeah Fairies wear boots and you gotta believe me
I saw it I saw it with my own two eyes
Woah right now
Yeah, I saw it, I saw it I tell you no lies
Yeah fairies wear boots and you gotta believe me
I saw it I saw it with my own two eyes
Woah right now
He said, son, son you've gone too far,
'Cause smokin' an trippin' is all that you do, yeah
The US label didn't want to release an album with less than 8 tracks listed, so this and others on the first few albums had titles for intros/outros added. "Jack the stripper" is just the instrumental at the beginning of "Fairies wear boots."
FWB was inspired by a bunch of jack-booted skinheads jumping Geezer, the smallest guy in the band, outside a bar. The lyrics are pretty nonsensical, and an excuse to repeat the chorus.
