The Other Woman Lyrics
The other woman finds time to manicure her nails
The other woman is perfect where her rival fails
And she's never seen with pin curls in her hair
The other woman enchantes her clothes with french perfume
The other woman keeps fresh cut flowers in each room
There are never toys that's scattered everywhere
And when her baby comes to call
He'll find her waiting like a lonesome queen
'Cause when she's by his side
It's such a change from old routine
But the other woman will always cry herself to sleep
The other woman will never have his love to keep
And as the years go by the other woman
Will spend her life alone
The other woman is perfect where her rival fails
And she's never seen with pin curls in her hair
The other woman keeps fresh cut flowers in each room
There are never toys that's scattered everywhere
He'll find her waiting like a lonesome queen
'Cause when she's by his side
It's such a change from old routine
The other woman will never have his love to keep
And as the years go by the other woman
Will spend her life alone

I love this song, it's so beautiful, even though her husband is obviously cheating on her. The woman is singing knowing that her man loves her and no matter how distracted and in love he is with the the other woman, he will still always love his wife, because he sees every side of her instead of this fake front the other woman puts up. Beautiful!
I see this song very differently than the other poster. I see it as sung from the perspective of the other woman. That although she does these things to woo him and is very attractive and does all things to please him... He'll never leave his wife for her and is just stringing her along.
Maybe it's both. MAybe their both the other woman. Maybe the wife is also the other woman. They both will never really have his love. They both may cry themselves to sleep and spend their life alone. Nina repeats the other woman never really specifying at one point which on e she is but you can see her and the other woman may have similar experiences of heartbreak and love
