Pretty straight forward lyrics, but to me it's about a fantasy of being a perfect father with a perfect relationship with his son, impressing everyone in the neighborhood including the bad guys.
It's very beautiful cause when having a son the expectations are very high and the dream of fulfilling them is very legitimate and poetic.
