Spicks & Specks Lyrics
Where is the sun
That shone on my head
The sun in my life
It is dead
It is dead
Where is the light
That would play
In my streets
And where are the friends
I could meet
I could meet
Where are the girls
I left far behind
The spicks and the specks
Of the girls on my mind
Where is the sun
That shone on my head
The sun in my life
It is dead
It is dead
Where are the girls
I left far behind
The spicks and the specks
Of the girls on my mind
Where are the girls
I left far behind
The spicks and the specks
Of the girls on my mind
Where is the girl I loved
All along
The girl that I loved
She's gone
She's gone
All of my life
I call yesterday
The spicks and the specks
Of my life 've gone away
All of my life
I call yesterday
The spicks and the specks
Of my life 've gone away
Everybody
Spicks and Specks
Spicks and Specks
That shone on my head
The sun in my life
It is dead

Where is the light

And where are the friends
I could meet
I could meet
I left far behind
The spicks and the specks
Of the girls on my mind
Where is the sun
That shone on my head
The sun in my life
It is dead
It is dead
I left far behind
The spicks and the specks
Of the girls on my mind
I left far behind
The spicks and the specks
Of the girls on my mind

No body has commented on the best song ever?
Except you and me my friend.
I beleive it is a song about growing old and reminiscing about old times. - How great things used to be and how average things are right now.
Also there is a curiosity factor - where are they now? The people that influenced his life. Quite a common theme in people's lives I would presume, thats one of the reasons why the song is so likeable. Although, I am yet to grow old and find out.
