The weird keyboard noises disappearing in the distance are most likely a nod to the Joy Division song "Insight", which has a similar sound.
Ian isn't dead...he lives in my basement behind the hot water pipes
The endings of the songs on movement are an obvious homage to the Joy Division style... kinda come crashing down violently and somewhat unexpectedly... like Ian
