When I'm at Home Lyrics

I will collapse
So lets make this moment last
I am alone
No not because I'm lost, because I'm found
And I like the way it sounds when I'm at Home
Don't say that I can't do it,
On my own

Then you did collide
And broke through the other side
Straight to my heart
You're the ember to my flame when it gets dark
and I love the way it feels when I'm with you
and I cannot find the words, no

Two hundred thirty
faces at my place
oh I should not be alone
I'll burn this house down,
no need for walls now
when I'm with you, I'm at home

(instruments)

Two hundred thirty
faces at my place
oh I should not be alone
I'll burn this house down,
no need for walls now
because when I'm with you,
I feel like I'm right at home

Two hundred thirty
faces at my place
oh I should not be alone
I'll burn this house down,
no need for walls now
When I'm with you,
I'm at home, home, home,
I'm at home, home, home
I'm at home.

Cover art for When I'm at Home lyrics by Maine, The

i think it's worth mentioning that one part where john is talking/screaming what sounds like gibberish, if you play the song backwards and skip about 2 minutes in when his talking starts, you can hear what he's saying, and it's basically a diss at the record company trying to control the way they do things and write their music "if this record does not make the cut, go fuck yourselves. this record is not for ourselves. we can do anything we want. this record is not for you" the backmasking just makes me love this song a million times more than i did already, which i didn't think was possible :)

oh also, the right lyrics for the chorus are "230 paces to my place" but everything else looks goo!

*good. looks good. omg haha

is this for real? how did you discover this? that's awesome, thanks for sharing!

This is by far my favourite song off Pioneer, and I'm surprised that it has no comments. The Maine are one of the only bands that change their sound each album, and still manage to sound just as good as they were before. They're perfect live too, really underrated band and song.
