She met you in the driveway it was so alone
With the neighbors still complaining 'bout the heat
And she fell in your way she broke down and said
"I feel love with people who tell you where to go
I don't know why the revelations bore me
I know I wont go outside
(You write there like a rabbit in the head (hole)
I don't know where I'm the prayer that is this city can seals)
I know by the eyes
But Charly don't you staying in this world
You lay down in the hallway it was so white
Like a slow dance with a carpet cheek to cheek
And descenting with her view to to you
Higher Ground with people who tell you where to go
I don't know why they clutch their faiths
Their only defense against the void
(You write there like rabbit in the head
I don't know where I'm the prayer that is this city can seals)
I know by the eyes
But Charly don't you stay in this world
Charly don't you there's so much to live for
Charly don't you the lovers coming soon
Charly don't you there's someone who needs you

This is a most wonderful song. Everyone who adores it should have seen and heard it live though, it's by far better than the recorded version, as it transports the feelings more intensely and sounds better at the high notes, I think.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
