I guess I know so much about this song because I am in a similar situation as the singer. I dated this girl for only a few weeks before she called it off even though I still felt love between us. I thought I could get over her, but as it says in the song, "it's kinda hard when you lay your heart on a one way street." and when it says, "...the kind of love sent from above it the killing kind." Then I started to think about her at the most random times during the day which is similar to, "I saw your face and I can't erase all the things I've seen." Also just like "Even if I try... I can't escape," I just can't get over her. After a month of being away from her, I discovered this song and realized that the refrain described perfectly what I felt. "Ain't no doubt about it, I can't live without [her]. Tried to forget you, but I can't get you outta my head. Just when I think your gone, you come back and turn it on and just like a simple song I can't get you outta my head."
