I think it's a song about peace and love. That people should love each other. "It's not hard for me to love you" Which means that love and being nice isn't hard. And that the world is a beautiful place.

I agree that the song is about peace and love. For the 'from a birds eye view', I think Jason means taking the view to look at the Earth from the universe, so that all the people are living on the same planet, and 'we are family'. The song is about the world as one single living unit. In the same way a human being is made up from approximately 50 trillion single cells, the world as a living organism is made up from all sorts of cells and bacterias in the form of humans, wolfs, eagles, water... and the list goes on :) We are, in the same way as you see yourself as an individual, a single individual living planet.
