Re-Wired Lyrics

I feel like the time has come
A fearless rescue from everyone
Who made you the master?
The lady caster, I found you looking for a good time
I was out in exile perfecting my style
I knew you wanted a reaction

Hit me! Harder! I’m getting re-wired
I flip the switch that make you feel electric
Even! Faster! Than before
I'm gonna light 'em up with you
I'm gonna light 'em up with you

Try to keep up, you scatter brain
She will enter through your vein
Who was your creator?
The one who made you, the flame I need to heat the silver
You’d bring Gods to their knees pick out the bad seeds
Relieve the generals of theirs duties

Hit me! Harder! I’m getting re-wired
I flip the switch that make you feel electric
Even! Faster! Than before
I'm gonna light 'em up with you
I'm gonna light 'em up with you

Who made you the master?
The Lady caster, I found you looking for a good time
Now this blood and glitter, it tastes so bitter
There’s no retreat for I surrender

Hit me! Harder! I’m getting re-wired
I flip the switch that make you feel electric
Even! Faster! Than before
I'm gonna light 'em up with you
I'm gonna light 'em up with you

I read somewhere that this entire album is about drugs which would suggest that this is about heroin "She will enter through your vein" and "the flame I need to heat the silver" certainly seem to suggest this

The album is not about drugs, it's about dinosaurs, duh. No but seriously, it's not always about drugs.

No idea.

But I think this is a classic, I can imagine in 20 years time listening back to this and thinking I must have had a good time rocking to this, and I don't normally think outside the present like that.

Neat stuff.

This is a great song. Maybe my explanation is wrong, but i think it's about destiny or smth like that.

@cahoopuk - The song being about drugs would definitely tally with admeans saying he 'can imagine listening back and thinking I must have had a good time'... as opposed to actually remembering it.

:-D

I love this song, and thought it was as though the person has faced loads of challenges, but the drug (whatever it is, as I'm pretty sure the next bit doesn't apply to heroin users) has made him come back stronger, able to do pretty much anything (that feeling of invincibility)and people asking the 'who made you the master' part of him; someone who was nothing but all of a sudden seems to have the midas touch.

Kind of like the drug in the film Limitless.

(Or maybe it's just the weed talking) ;-)

Ha anyone else heard the similarities between this song and Re-wired?

If you lissten at 1:50 on Vlad the Impaler and just before the choruses on Re-wired(starts building from 1:03, very loud at 1:11-1:15) you will hear the same riff on the guitar... any connection? Not sure but just something I noticed.

If it is about drugs... And I kinda think it is.... it's definitely meth
