Another day another life
Passes by just like mine
It's not complicated

Another mind
Another soul
Another body to grow old
It's not complicated

Do you ever wonder if the stars shine out for you?
Float down
Like autumn leaves
Hush now
Close your eyes before the sleep
And you're miles away
And yesterday you were here with me

Another tear
Another cry
Another place for us to die
It's not complicated

Another love that's gone to waste
Another light lost from your face
It's complicated

Is it that it's over or do birds still sing for you?
Float down
Like autumn leaves
Hush now
Close your eyes before the sleep
And you're miles away
And yesterday you were here with me

Ooh how I miss you
My symphony played the song that carried you out
Ooh how I miss you
And I, I miss you and I wish you'd stay

Do you ever wonder if the stars shine out for you?
Float down
Like autumn leaves
Hush now
Close your eyes before the sleep
And you're miles away
And yesterday you were here with me

Touch down
Like a seven four seven
Or stay out and we'll live forever now

    My Interpretation

I think the verses are about accepting the world as it is "Another tear, another cry, another place for us to die it's not complicated." People will keep crying, people will keep shedding tears, there will keep being places to die, it's not particularly complicated, and you just have to accept it, because that's how the world is.

Then, in the chorus, it's a bit more said. "Do you ever wonder if the stars shine out for you?" I believe this is like "Do you believe in God?" and is supposed to ask if this person thinks there's someone out there protecting him/her, if there's someone out there to make the desicions and make them give sense, in the end. "Float down like autumn leaves." I think this means "come back." Come back, let your sould float back to Earth. "Close your eyes before the sleep." Close your eyes when you die, don't let me see the light leave your eyes. "You're miles away." I believe this means that he/she is in Heaven. "Yesterday you were here with me." That doesn't need any interpretation, it states quite plainly what it means. Maybe no yesterday, but not long ago, either.

Then there's the second verse. The first three lines are the same as the first verse, but the next part is different. "Another love that's gone to waste, another light gone from your face, it's complicated." This is more like, "now you are dead, I have lost the one I love, you're even weaker, I can't reach you anymore, I don't know what to do," as if he's trying to get a response.

"Is it that it's over or do birds still sing for you?" I think this means, "Now that you now, do you still believe in God?" And is pretty much the same as "Do you ever wonder if the stars shine out for you?" except, in the second chorus, it's more asking for confirmation than asking for an opinion on the subject.

"My symphony played the song that carried you out." I believe this means that he was singing to him/her. Perhaps singing a lullaby, trying to make the person fall asleep so that death would be gentler, and then the last thing the person hears is the sound of the voice, singing him/her to sleep.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer

In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Bron-Y-Aur Stomp

This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
