So this song is obviously a stab at friend(s) who betrayed him, specifically Max Green. It's a cool song, anyone can relate, and it has some good lines, but I really love what he says at the end. At least he can admit he has made mistakes because there are people in this world who can't.

I'm almost positive the "grandfather" bit was a stab at Monte, as well.

Also, some of the lyrics are wrong

it's:

"It's truth (be) told now, or meet your demise."

and:

"Oh, I will not just (lay down) and take this."

This is definitely about Max Green. His father walked out on him when he was very young (hence the 'just like your father did to you') and he considered his grandfather his father figure (hence the 'your grandfather would probably roll in his grave').

this song is to max.when he says 'how did it feel when you held the knife that you stuck right in my back,a thousand times',you can tell that hes talking about max because max stabbed him in the back becuz when ronnei was gunna go to jail max just stood there and didnt do anything or help his friend.i mean i love max so im not trying to hate.Max and Ronnie are cool now but they will never be the same.this song was written when ronnie was in jail so he was still hurt about hwat max did.

I assumed it was about being caught in "The Webs We Weave" from Escape the Fate's first album.

I dunno, I also, yeah, assumed it was about Escape the Fate and Max Green considering Max did a lot of messed up stuff to Ronnie. Poor Ronnie. :(

I also don't know a lot about Max's personal life, but when me and my friend listened to the song, we just assumed he was referring to Max's father leaving him alone, kinda like how he did Ronnie once Ronnie went to prison.
