O.G. Loko Lyrics

I'm coming in hot
I'm coming in fast
Take my time
It's so damn hard
I'll make this last
I'm the artist
Paints in white, your skin canvas
I'll leave you scratching, gasping, screaming, screaming
I was lost until I found myself inside of you
My friend, my love, my life, my...
Truth by told I would set my whole world on fire
Just to watch it burn in your eyes

Meet my dedication, inspiration
It may be smothering you, but you know it's the truth
Meet my dedication, inspiration
It may be smothering you, but you know it's the truth

Set my world on fire, it caught spark in your eyes
And now I could see myself with no other baby,
I've had you so many times, but you know I could never get enough of your love
I could never get enough
I could never get enough of your love

Meet my dedication, inspiration
It may be smothering you, but you know it's the truth
Meet my dedication, inspiration
It may be smothering you, but you know it's the truth

I'm still here, this is faithfulness at its finest.

it kind of sounds like they're comparing making music with having sex.

the last line regarding being faithful to the fans, and delivering once again an album for us.

pretty loose, but it sounds pretty good to me. the opening lines referring to sex in it's visceral, which is a lot like the music the band makes.

Not a PG song lyrics wise, but it's got addictive rhythms all through out the song.

I'm gonna gander that it is related to either a relationship and love or the fans of the band.

The sex part? I don't understand the correlation. It's pretty loose with lyrics on that part.

I'm going to take a guess and say this is about his ex-fiance right after everything blew up. That he still has faith that they can mend their relationship and start it anew.

The chorus is simply Austin telling her to at least meet everything he's given, and that even though he may be over doing it, it's all genuine.

The last line, man, he's saying that even though everything that happened happened, he is still right there with her trying to make it work and move past it. "I'm still here, this is faithfulness at its finest."

My Interpretation

I think that this song is about meeting a chick on tour and banging her and then falling in love with her for the wrong reasons, he liked fucking her so much that he couldn't let her go because of his "love".

"I've had you so many times, but you know I could never get enough of your love I could never get enough I could never get enough of your love"

think about it..

"We wanted to put [this song] first, because it is extremely similar to the debut album, thus making it a little easier to transition into our second. The entire track is about dedication, sex and love. You can use your imagination when I scream, "It's so damn hard, I'll make this last. I’m the artist, paints in white, your skin canvas..." I've sang and written about love before, but with love comes some sort of physical attraction to that person. When you're with someone you are in love with, there is no doubt there are more than sparks; [it’s] more like fire, between you two and the sheets, or washer, car [or] kitchen counter. This song talks about that—note, "I was lost until I found myself inside of you." The dedication chorus can be backed up by the lines, "This is faithfulness at its finest" and "I've had you so many times, but you know I could never get enough." It's clear to see this song was intended to be dedicated to someone, but as the album progresses, you find that [sometimes] how you feel can do nothing to affect actual reality. Also, did I mention that "O.G. Loko" stands for the now illegal, original Four Loko drink?" - Austin Carlile, track by track for The Flood on Alternative Press
