This song is actually about 2 children killing their parents.

Younger sister is being sexually abused by her father and when her older brother figures it out he murders their dad

I agree with frailty00's theory that the song is about a murder scenario. To me, "lofticries" sounds like "laughter/cries". Similar to how the title of their song "belispeak" is formed by saying "belly" and "speak" as one word. I know "lofti" and "laughter" don't sound much alike, but it may explain a few things if you can see the song as a murder scenario. "laughter/cries" could allude to the mixed emotions one might feel after murdering abusive parents. Laughter, because of the joy they feel from freeing themselves of oppression and abuse, or they may also be laughing because of the utter helplessness of their situation. But they are also crying the same time, racked with guilt and by their conscience. Whatever the meaning is, it's a great song!

yo yo yo im pretty sure she talkin about injecting herself with dmt or something. the rain is the tingling inside her body. and she talks like the drug will heal her and when it drops on the floor and he tries and picks it up dmt turns to a paste when you touch it with your fingers. plus it come from the pineal gland and thats why she says let it seep into your skull.

Here are my thoughts, apologize if I repeat anyone. I think this song is about a sexual abuse as a few others did and hopefully I can strengthen that argument. Everything can be interpreted in any number of ways though:

---The thunder and rain signify a powerful change that has occurred or that the brother/sister wish to occur, this change will end their woes. Not sure on "proud veins"

---When I hear bead weighted chest I envision that the trauma and sorrow felt by the abused girl (in her heart/chest) feels to her like there are weighted strings pulling on it. Keeping in theme with the names of other songs on the album that are two words "creatively" smushed together, I see lofticries as lofty cries. Lofty can mean tall, "of imposing height" and her screams could certainly be tall, loud and carry over quite a distance. Trembling => she is scared in anticipation Thighs => clearly a sexual body part

---Her abuser is hovering over himself because of the pleasure he finds in having his way with her, in owning her. I cant decipher the rest of this verse, it seems to me as if the author is just using catch words like "liquids" and "oily," words that catch our attention. Making a paste and letting it form is a practice few of us take part in today, I have a hard time thinking it could be a symbol for something else, I also have a hard time thinking of any paste or salve made from liquids picked up off the floor with oily fingers. This seems like catchy filler to me

---This verse seems most obvious to me. It begins the second half of the song and is powerful just like the beginning verse. The abuser has clearly been killed, "fractured skull" implies he died of blunt trauma to the head. He is buried in the ground and mother nature will begin to reclaim his body aka worms, water, bateria, fungi will begin to seep into his body through the aforementioned orifices and decompose it.

"Let it keep you from us" - His death will keep him from abusing them "Patiently Heal/Patiently unreel" - Implies that in death he will be freed of whatever mental illness he suffered from that made him want to abuse the children. Nature will slowly unreel him, or undo him, decompose him

I'm sure there are many interpretations, but this is what I imagine, it seems to match the tone of the song, but who knows, when the artist finally tells us what it is about, we might all be wrong

The lines from 2:00 to 2:17:

Are you sure it's not:

Now, I don't completely agree with 'fractured'. Though, I can't pose an alternative as I hear 'fractured', 'ruptured', and some mix of the two when I listen intently.

As for the chorus sections, I'd like to see your original text as I agree that there are far too many 's' sounds for it to be what I see now. I agree with bdaily and lordpie because I hear:

and

"Dear brother, collect all the liquids off of the floor"

This song feels so intensely sexual to me and hearing the lyrics this way reinforces that feeling so well.

I think it's 'drip' instead of trip. It seems to me like it's maybe a rape song... The lyrics are intense if you see them the right way.

I believe the song is based off of a young virgin girl looking forward to having sex some day with her future significant other that was brutally raped and killed (possibly by her brother..?). The tone of the song completely contradicts the lyrics which makes it seem kind of unbelievable when you first listen to it, but when you break them down it becomes very transparent..

Storms generally are signs of something bad coming or happening (obviously). The storm overcomes all of her yells and woes. The veins part I think can go two different ways: One, her proud veins of being a virgin saving herself for whomever or two, the pride from a family relationship (She states brother later on, the girl was perhaps raped by her own brother) that once was strong has been broken.

This verse is still fairly blurry to me, but if I had to take a stab at it I'd have to say that the beginning of it directly related to possibly the rapist carrying a gun and causing some type of physical pain. The second part seem pretty clear with having the joys attributing to losing her virginity stolen from her. I am not sure "feel our shining teeth" is what she says, but bet our hold on happiness could be related to the stealing of her virginity and how the one causing pain has put her happiness in life on stake.

The first two lines could describe what she was expecting and waiting for from losing her virginity. The last two lines could describe the feelings that ensued as she was raped, a completely opposite, sad, and horrible emotion. I do not know what lofticries means, if someone knows please elaborate.

This verse really backs up the rape concept. Hovering over the girl he raped, both have liquids dripping (sweat, blood, other bodily fluids). Dear brother makes me think that it could be her actual brother doing the raping, but it could also mean just a boy/man in general. Collect the fluids off of the ground - Blood and the male bodily fluids mixing together as he tries to wipe up the evidence. I don't think I need to elaborate much on these few lines, and I really do not want to considering it is harshly disturbing.

This seems like she suffered a severe head wound and the blood is seeping throughout her cranium. The rest seems like she is dying slowly, the wounds are keeping her from staying alive. She is unreeling into perhaps an afterlife.

This is a heck of a clincher if you ask me. The way I took this was that she is looking at herself from a third person (out of body) point of view speaking directly to the rapist saying that he must be realizing what he has done, now that the rape is over, watching as the blood seeps out of her and becoming aware of the absolutely horrendous malfeasance he has committed.

This is all my own personal opinion about this song. It is a great song, but also very disturbing once you dig into it. Please feel free to contribute to this to help understand the song better if anyone sees things from a different light that I have not.

I agree with the notion that it is the murder of an abusive parent. Though my take on it is slightly different. I put in caps the words that I hear that differ from lyrics above.

*They are praying for the rain to wash away the pain and guilt they keep in their hearts.

*The abuse/propensity-to-abuse of the parent was slowly taking away their will to live and their childhood happiness. However, their retaliation also caused them great and lasting sadness.

*Bead-weighted chests are coffins. The beads are a Rosary. They are crying out to the heavens for forgiveness as they are burying the parent. They are sobbing and weak-kneed during this traumatic event.

*It takes both of them to carry the body because they are only children. They are stumbling in the process. The rest is a reference to cleaning up the evidence.

*The dirt and mud filling the grave is whats seeping in and keeping the parent from them. The fractured skull hints that they bludgeoned the parent. Patiently heal means they may forgive the parent in time. Patiently unreel is a letting go, maybe forgiveness or maybe the act of a slowly lowering the body into the grave.

This song is artfully written and very thought provoking, but like any art only the artist knows what it truly means.
